....Anastasia is a self-taught artist from Rostov region in southern Russia. Her family moved to Saint Petersburg when she was a little girl, and she has lived there ever since. She earned a degree in civil engineering, specialising in industrial and civil construction. She had originally planned to study architecture and spent several years preparing for admission, rarely setting down her pencil as she explored drawing and graphic art. Her creative gifts had been evident since childhood. At primary school, teachers singled out her drawings and submitted them to children’s exhibitions. She also excelled in her flute studies at music school, where her teacher recognised her talent and prepared her to apply to a conservatoire.

....She ultimately chose engineering over a creative career, but did not remain in the profession for long after graduating. Still a young mother, Anastasia experienced severe postnatal depression after the birth of her second child. During this difficult period, she searched for something that might bring her even a little joy.

....At the invitation of her daughter’s art teacher, she attended an evening painting class for amateur artists. There, she discovered oils for the first time: their texture, the experience of working with them on canvas and, above all, the brilliance and variety of their colours..«I will never forget that first encounter with oils,» Anastasia recalls. That day marked the beginning of a passion that would absorb her completely and eventually become a source of income.

....Her paintings began to sell, finding homes with collectors across Russia and around the world, including the United States, Canada, France, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. She also completed numerous commissions to recreate works by the great Impressionist painters.

....In 2022, Anastasia became a mother for the third time. The birth of her third child gave her fresh inspiration to develop her art further. She decided to start a blog, sharing inspiring videos of her paintings taking shape.

....Anastasia draws inspiration from the beauty and intricate order of the world, the play of sunlight in nature, contemplation of the universe and the search for inner balance and harmony. Through her paintings, she seeks to share a deep love of life.
